Disneyland is located in Anaheim, California, one hour south of downtown Los Angeles. Originally to be set on 8 acres for family and friends, Walt Disney grew a vision of something much grander. He turned 160 acres of land in perhaps the greatest theme park ever. One of the best parts of Disneyland is the attractions. There are numerous shows of all types, meet and greets with characters, iconic picture locations and more. Fantasmic, Parades, Fireworks are among the top. Depending on how fast a pace you want to keep, you can see all of Disneyland in two to three days. Inexpensive hotels around Disneyland are The Candy Cane Inn, The Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel, The Anaheim Camelot Inn.
